Duck'N Into Your Weekend at
The River's Bend
Just look for the Ducks... We may not have all ours in a row, but we have fun trying!

What's Up with the Ducks
WE ARE SO GLAD YOU ASKED!!
We have gone through a transition...YES THEY ARE ADORABLE, but some don't actually know how, getting ducked started!

#DuckDuckJeep was founded by Allison Parliament. In 2020, Ms. Parliament placed a rubber duck on another Jeep at a gas station, along with a simple note that read, “Nice Jeep, have a great day.”
That small act of kindness spread like wildfire during the pandemic, lifting spirits at a time when the world felt heavy and uncertain. Soon, Jeeps everywhere were being “ducked.” Parliament later told The Wall Street Journal that the ducks were meant to remind people that they weren’t alone, even when everything seemed to be falling apart.
In June 2024, at the age of 36, Allison passed away in her home in Ontario, Canada. Here at The River’s Bend, we remember Allison for many reasons—most of all, for teaching us to look for light in dark times, and for reminding us, through our duck friends, that safety, kindness, and connection can be found in the simplest gestures.
